Compassionate, Real-World Support for Living with Low Vision

Hi, my name is Kim, Occupational Therapist and founder of SparrowView Therapy LLC. I have experience working in acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, home health, and teletherapy. My primary areas of interest and experience include stroke, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injuries, other neurological diagnoses, spinal cord injuries, low vision, cognitive rehabilitation, and home modifications. My goal is to help individuals live safely and maximize their independence, no matter the challenges they face.

I completed my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University and a graduate certification in Low Vision Rehabilitation from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I’ve also served as an adjunct OT professor and contributed to the 3rd edition of Occupational Therapy in Acute Care (AOTA Press, 2024), writing the Low Vision chapter and co-authoring the Home Modifications chapter, bringing a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge alongside my clinical work.

Outside of my work as an occupational therapist, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life.
